After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that MTF Securities Limited (the Company) intends to cease business with effect from 6th March 2022 (Date of Cessation), subject to approval by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
In connection with the cessation of business, the Company will notify SFC and request for revocation of its licence with Type 1 regulated activities, as required under Securities and Futures Ordinance.
Meanwhile, in line with the decision of cessation of business, the Company has made arrangements to return and/or transfer your assets (including cash and/or securities) in your trading account with the Company and to close your account before the Date of Cessation. Please refer to the attached APPENDIX for detailed arrangements.
In the case of those clients who cannot be contacted before the Date of Cessation, we may appoint a law firm as escrow agent and transfer all these trading accounts to such escrow account. Extra escrow agent fees and account maintenance fees will be charged after the Date of Cessation. Please refer to the attached APPENDIX for the details of itinerary and fee schedule.
Finally, we thank you for your support to the Company. In the interim, we will do our best to return/transfer your assets smoothly and safely. We truly appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation on this matter.
